The Development Bank of Wales is one of the corporate supporters for this year’s PRIDE Cymru celebrations, which will take place at Cardiff Castle on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23.

The two-day festival, which promises to be the largest single Pride celebration in Wales, will feature performances from acts including The Vengaboys, Scissor Sisters’ Jake Shears, Kara Marni, House Gospel Choir, Louise Hall, Frankie Wesson and others, split across the Principality main stage and the S4C community stage.

As well as formally sponsoring this year’s events, employees from the Development Bank will also join the parade through Cardiff city centre on Saturday.

The parade will start at 11am from Castle Street and finish up on Kingsway by Cardiff Castle and is expected to last for over one-and-a-half hours.

Beverley Downes, Communications Director at the Development Bank of Wales, said: “We’re proud to support this year’s PRIDE Cymru, and we are delighted to be joining the parade this year.”

“PRIDE Cymru is a hardworking volunteer-led charity, and its members work tirelessly to eliminate discrimination. They are committed to campaigning for equality and acceptance of diversity within our communities.

“We are honoured to work with this expectational charity and continue to learn from the LGBTQ+ community and show that we are an inclusive and diverse workforce.”
