Cara Williams

My role involves reviewing loan applications for sole traders, start-up or established small businesses in Wales to help them get off the ground or grow, and to support business acquisitions.

I joined Development Bank in 2024, and I am based in the Wrexham office. This allows me to work with mid and north Wales businesses looking to secure funding of up to £50,000.

Before joining the Development Bank, I worked in the finance sector for 6 years in various roles.

I have a MSc in Statistical analysis, operational research and financial risk from Cardiff University.
