Office manager

We're recruiting for an office manager based out of Wrexham.

 

Job purpose

To provide facilities management and administration services for the Development Bank of Wales across the Group and as lead for the Wrexham office. Duties include management of contractors, health and safety, security, budgets and cost control as well as general facilities management duties. 

The post holder will also be required to provide reception and switchboard services at the Wrexham site.
 

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Ensure the efficient running of offices on a day to day basis
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service at front of house
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with all departments, identifying and meeting customer needs
  • Support the administration of office leases across the Group
  • Manage the day-to-day relationships with our landlords at Wrexham and other sites as required. Work with their teams on all aspects of facilities management and the working environment
  • Manage supplier contracts to include budget management and performance against SLA’s
  • Manage offsite storage facilities
  • Manage office equipment and resources
  • Day-to-day purchasing and budget control
  • Any other task as may be defined by the Central Services Manager to meet the operational needs of the department

  • Experience of cost control
  • Experience of facilities or office management
  • Attention to detail
  • Actively promotes a strong team culture
  • Welsh speaker

Desirable  

  • Previous experience of working in a busy office environment

  • IT literate to include the use of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Lotus Notes
