Carl Griffiths

I have extensive experience within the technology sector as a business owner, and as an investor.

I am the former CEO and founder of Seren Photonics Ltd, and I am the founder of ORS Ltd, which is a manufacturer of optical probes for the semiconductor industries.

I was the managing director for ORS for eight years, running the business and raising equity funding - before becoming investment manager at VC firm Fusion IP plc. Previously, I have worked as the Principal Research Engineer for BICC Cables Ltd.

I focus on investing in intellectual property rich Welsh technology ventures with the potential to be high growth companies. 

I have worked with a number of commercial due diligence providers and co-investors, and I am adept at helping businesses shape and develop their ideas.

I hold a PhD in Physics from Cardiff University.
