Dionne Jones

My role is to support the launch of the Self Build Wales scheme through engagement with local authorities, applicants and third-party suppliers to deliver funding and greater opportunities for those with aspirations of building their own home.

Based in Wrexham, I joined the property team at the Development Bank of Wales in September 2019.

My background is primarily in secured lending, where I have spent 13 years working for HBOS across multiple disciplines, ranging from customer services and mortgage underwriting to project management.

I want to use this range of experience to help deliver successful outcomes for customers and local authorities alike.

Previously, I worked for Target Group within the collections and recoveries department, where I worked within the litigation function. Later, I moved into an operational management role, which involved me managing multiple portfolios and heading up a team of strategy decision makers and back-office administrators.
