Emma Phillips

I joined the Development Bank in 2017, after more than ten years with Principality Building Society Commercial Lending division.

I spent two years in the Angels Invest Wales team, where I was responsible for implementing numerous key changes, including the introduction of a new online investment platform and £8m angel co-investment fund.

In March 2019, I set up the new Self Build Wales scheme. Self-Build Wales is a unique and exciting initiative that will offer people an affordable way of designing and building their own homes in Wales.

I am very much looking forward to playing a key role in implementing and managing the ongoing operational delivery of this scheme.
