UKSPA Conference 2018

Technology ventures senior investment executive Richard Thompson will be presenting at the UKSPA conference, hosted by the Institute of Life Science (ILS), Swansea University Medical School at Swansea’s National Waterfront Museum on Thursday 25 and Friday 26 January 2018.

Richard will be focusing on business innovation, co-investment and collaboration in Swansea and west Wales. He will also discuss the launch of the Development Bank of Wales in October, the transition of Finance Wales into the development bank and how it aims to unlock potential in the Welsh economy.

The conference will also discuss innovation across Wales, the impact of the City Deal on Swansea, fostering business innovation in the Heart of Wales, repurposing the Life Sciences Hub, issues facing UK wide science and innovation, incubating the next generation of UK innovators and the contribution of universities, and trends and current initiatives in the UK innovation sector.
