Born and bred in north Wales, I’m proud of this area and I’m passionate about helping to deliver a more prosperous and secure Wales by creating and safeguarding jobs and wealth.

In fact, I don’t think that anything beats the feel good factor of knowing that our work really does make a difference to the local economy. Helping to realise the growth potential of businesses in north Wales is what makes me tick.

I’ve spent the last 12 years in banking, specialising in acquisitions and management buy-outs. I’ve worked on some great deals and I’m particularly proud of some of the recent investments that we have completed; using our funding and know-how to back some of the biggest success stories by safeguarding jobs and creating employment opportunities for local people. It’s a great feeling.

Life at the Development Bank of Wales is truly rewarding. The environment is agile, colleagues are supportive and the culture is open and transparent. This is an organisation with the customer at the heart of the business model and where our own team has a voice. It’s a great place to be and I’m proud to be a part of it.
