It was 1985 when I first joined the Natwest Management Development Programme. Fast forward to 2017 and I am now very proud to say that I am a property specialist working for the new Development Bank of Wales.

Property has always been my passion. Funding for both residential and commercial developments is what I have specialised in for the last 17 years which is why I am so excited by the newly expanded £40 million Wales Property Fund.

These are exciting times. As a team, we’ve got the experience and the resources to provide the support that is needed in our area. Every day is different and every week brings an opportunity to help fund growth and opportunity for local developers. From refurbishment projects to new housing developments, we’re here to support commercially viable schemes that need our help.

Working with developers and contractors across north and mid-Wales, I love the strong community spirit in this part of the world and really enjoy being part of the development bank team. We work hard, we pull together and we support those around us. This goes way beyond the investments that we make and the funds that we manage; from our superb annual charity ball to regular team fundraising events at a local level, we’re in it together every step of the way. That’s why the Development Bank of Wales is such a great place to be.
