Wales FSB Celebrating Small Business Awards 2023

The FSB Awards celebrate the successes, achievements, and uniqueness of outstanding small businesses across the UK, with this particular event celebrating Wales. The day itself is all about showcasing the fascinating companies from different communities and networking with other successful businesses that have fewer than 250 employees. There is 12 total awards to be won at the event from the Service excellence Award to Young Entrepreneur of the Year. The Development Bank of Wales are proud to again be sponsoring these awards. This year we have chosen to sponsor the Sustainability award and we are looking forward to seeing which business will win it.

This event will be hosted by one of the faces of ITV News, Andrea Byrne. She anchors ITV’s national bulletins as well as Wales at Six, a BAFTA award-winning daily news programme. Over her career Byrne has interviewed many high-profile names including David Cameron and even Prince Harry. While very established in her field, Byrne has also managed to become a Non-Executive Director for Hockey Wales, an ambassador for The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme, a trustee for the organ donation charity Believe and even has her own podcast titled ‘Making Babies’. If that wasn’t enough, she is also married to Lee Byrne, a Wales and Lions legend.
